Entry: FREE Westcote Studios, 63a Westcote Road, SW16 Discover designers in a concealed courtyard Local artists and designers in Streatham Vale are opening their studios to the public for 2 weekends in October. Westcote studios, usually only accessible by appointment, will open its gates for the very first time to reveal the design delights and artful treasures created in this Victorian Mews. On weekends 7-8 and 14-15 October you have the rare opportunity to come and look around the studios, meet the artists and designers, view and buy their work at studio prices. Hidden just off Mitcham Lane in Streatham, Westcote Studios is a delightful old Mews which up to a couple of years ago was still used as stables. Now converted into studio units it houses 'up and coming' artists, sculptors, designers, jewellers, ceramicists, framers, upholsterers, printers and set designers. You can access the studios by foot from Mitcham Lane and turn into Westcote Road (Opposite Thrale Road) and the entrance to the Mews is on your right, just after the car show room. Parking is very limited on site so you are advised to find parking in the surrounding roads.
